Job Description

TCS is looking for experienced SAP PP/QM Consultants with strong expertise in designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) solutions. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, production execution, quality assurance, and compliance across enterprise environments.

Key Skills Required
Strong experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) Configuration and Support
Expertise in Production Planning Processes, including Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Demand Management, and Capacity Planning
Experience in Production Orders, Process Orders, and Shop Floor Control
Knowledge of BOM (Bill of Materials), Work Centers, Routing, Production Versions, and Master Data Management
Experience in Planned Orders, Scheduling, Order Confirmation, and Backflush Processes




Robust understanding of Make-to-Stock (MTS) and Make-to-Order (MTO) Scenarios
Expertise in Quality Planning, Quality Inspection, and Quality Control Processes
Experience in Inspection Types, Inspection Plans, Sampling Procedures, and Quality Notifications
Knowledge of Quality Certificates, Vendor Quality Management, and Customer Quality Management
Experience in Defect Recording, Corrective Actions, and Quality Reporting
Strong understanding of Batch Management and Batch Determination
Experience in Physical Inventory and Production-related Inventory Processes
Knowledge of Production Execution and Manufacturing Process Integration
Experience in PP Integration with MM, SD, QM, PM, WM/EWM, and CO Modules
Experience in Production Support, Enhancements, Rollouts, and Implementation Projects
Strong exposure to UAT, Cutover Activities, Go-Live Support, and Hypercare
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PP/QM solutions
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
