Role & responsibilities

- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Provide Level 1 support for network-related issues, including troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity problems.
- Configure and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and related network devices.
- Perform basic network configurations such as VLANs, IP addressing, routing, and switching.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level engineers (L2/L3) when required.
- Maintain documentation of network configurations, incidents, and changes.
- Assist in network upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
- Respond to alerts and incidents within defined SLAs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and security standards

Preferred candidate profile





- Minimum 2 years of experience in network support or administration.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco networking concepts and devices.
- Understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP.
- Familiarity with routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, EIGRP, RIP).
- Knowledge of switching technologies including VLANs, STP, and trunking.
- Basic understanding of firewall concepts and network security.
- Experience with network monitoring tools. Valuable troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
