Position Overview

Monitor and review employee electronic communications to identify potential violations of firm policies, regulatory requirements, and market conduct rules

Support the firms global compliance and risk management framework by ensuring communications are qualified, compliant, and aligned with internal standards

Key Responsibilities

Surveillance & Review

Monitor electronic communications across approved platforms, including email, Bloomberg, Teams, WhatsApp, SMS, and other channels

Identify, assess, and escalate red flags related to insider trading, market manipulation, information leakage, fraud, or inappropriate conduct

Classify, document, and track surveillance findings in accordance with established procedures

Investigation & Escalation

Conduct detailed follow-up reviews of flagged communications

Support internal investigations and collaborate with Legal, HR, and business management

Prepare clear case summaries and reports for senior compliance officers and stakeholders





Systems & Regulatory Support

Assist in optimizing surveillance tools and lexicons to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives

Participate in user acceptance testing and system enhancement initiatives

Stay current on global regulatory requirements (e.g., SEC, FINRA, FCA, APAC regulators)

Support internal and external audits, regulatory exams, and ad hoc data requests

Training & Culture

Contribute to training initiatives on electronic communication standards

Promote a strong culture of ethical conduct and compliance awareness

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Law, or related field
- 2-5 years of compliance or surveillance experience within financial services
- Robust analytical skills, attention to detail, discretion, and familiarity with surveillance platforms
