Location: - Olectra Plant, Seetharampur

Experience

- Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in Power Electronics & drives and Electric Vehicle (EV) product development with hands-on experience in automotive applications.

Education

- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Power Electronics, Electrical Drives, or related discipline.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize traction motor controllers, inverters, and high-voltage (HV) powertrain systems for electric vehicles.
- Develop and integrate EV powertrain systems for electric buses, trucks, and other commercial EV applications.
- Design, implement, and optimize motor control algorithms for PMSM, BLDC, and Induction Motors, including Field-Oriented Control (FOC), torque/speed control, regenerative braking, and field weakening.
- Integrate and validate powertrain components, including Battery Management System (BMS), Vehicle Control Unit (VCU), On-Board Charger (OBC), DC-DC Converter,



and other HV subsystems.
- Perform system-level simulation, calibration, testing, validation, and performance optimization to ensure efficiency, reliability, and compliance with automotive standards.
- Support prototype development, vehicle integration, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production readiness through all stages of product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure successful development, integration, and launch of EV powertrain systems.

Technical Skills

- Traction motor control, inverter design, and EV powertrain integration.
- Motor control algorithms: FOC, SVPWM, torque/speed control, regenerative braking, and field weakening.
- Experience with IGBT/SiC MOSFET-based inverter technology.
- Embedded C, MATLAB/Simulink, CAN/CAN FD, Vector CANoe/CANalyzer.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262, DVP&R;, EMI/EMC, and automotive development processes.
