Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, deploy, and manage Kafka clusters on AWS using Confluent's Cloud Platform.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of the Kafka cluster by monitoring metrics such as throughput, latency, and CPU usage.
- Collaborate with development teams to design data pipelines that integrate with Kafka topics for real-time event processing.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Kafka broker nodes, topic partitions, and consumer/producer applications.
Job Requirements :
- 5-11 years of experience in managing large-scale distributed systems like Apache Kafka.
- Robust understanding of AWS services including EC2 instances, VPC networks, EBS load balancers etc. .
- Experience with Terraform scripting for infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
