Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile apps using Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest
- Build and maintain cross-platform mobile automation frameworks following the Page Object Model (POM)
- Execute functional, regression, and smoke test suites on real devices, emulators, and simulators
- Integrate mobile test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
- Perform device/OS compatibility testing across various screen sizes and OS versions
- Test mobile-specific behaviors including push notifications, deep links, gestures, offline mode, and app permissions
- Log, track, and verify bug fixes using tools like JIRA
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define test strategy and acceptance criteria
- Conduct API-level testing (REST Assured/Postman) to support mobile backend services

Required Skills

- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in mobile test automation (Android and iOS)




- Robust experience with Appium (Java/Python/JS) and/or native frameworks (Espresso for Android, XCUITest for iOS)
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Python, or TypeScript
- Experience with TestNG/JUnit, Git, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, gestures, and OS-specific behaviors
- Familiarity with real device, emulator/simulator testing, and cloud device labs (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.)

Nice to Have

- Experience with Playwright, REST Assured, or performance testing tools like JMeter
- Basic understanding of iOS provisioning profiles/certificates and Android APK/AAB builds
- Ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate test script generation, debugging, and framework maintenanceRole & responsibilities
