Job Description

Sciens Software Technologies is looking for an experienced Senior Oracle Xstore Developer with solid expertise in Oracle Retail Xstore POS development, customization, and support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing Oracle Xstore applications, integrating POS systems with enterprise applications, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting end-to-end implementation activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Customize, develop, and enhance Oracle Retail Xstore POS applications.
- Design and implement solutions using Java, XML, SQL, and Oracle Database technologies.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle Xstore and enterprise systems using APIs and web services.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects and production incidents.
- Participate in application testing, deployment, release management, and post-production support.
- Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver business requirements.
- Ensure application performance, reliability,



and compliance with development standards.
- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience in Oracle Retail Xstore POS development and support.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, XML, SQL, and Oracle Database.
- Experience in integrating POS applications with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware.
- Valuable understanding of retail POS operations and Oracle Retail architecture.
- Experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and production support.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Oracle Retail Suite (RMS, ORBO, ORFM, etc.).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment processes.
