Role & responsibilities:

1. Clinical Assessment & Care Delivery

- Perform patient assessments and develop personalized physiotherapy treatment plans.
- Execute therapeutic sessions based on referrals and clinical objectives.
- Monitor and document patient progress and modify treatment protocols accordingly.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure integrated patient care.

2. Departmental Oversight & Service Execution

- Manage the day-to-day functioning of the physiotherapy department (IP and OP).
- Supervise junior physiotherapists and support staff, ensuring adherence to treatment standards.
- Ensure therapies are scheduled, delivered, and billed correctly with 0% OPD billing outstanding.
- Create and promote outpatient physiotherapy packages in alignment with service goals.

3. Training & Staff Development

- Conduct orientation and on-the-job training for recent staff and students.
- Participate in recruitment activities including interviews, shortlisting, and feedback.
- Lead continuing education initiatives and conduct regular departmental knowledge sharing.

4. Quality Management & Documentation

- Maintain accurate patient records in the HIS/EMR as per organizational standards.
- Contribute to the creation and review of physiotherapy protocols, SOPs, and NABH guidelines.




- Monitor and report departmental performance through weekly/monthly reports.

5. Inventory & Equipment Management

- Maintain physiotherapy equipment and ensure timely servicing and calibration.
- Monitor and requisition supplies based on departmental needs.
- Coordinate with procurement and administration for repair or replacement.

6. Community Engagement & Awareness

- Organize and participate in physiotherapy awareness camps, health talks, and community outreach.
- Create brochures, handouts, PPTs, and patient education material as needed.
- Represent the department in marketing, awareness, and CSR activities.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Education: BSc in Physiotherapy (BPT) OR (MPT preferred)
- Experience: Minimum 6+ years in clinical physiotherapy; exposure to geriatrics preferred
- Knowledge of HIS, NABH standards, and electronic documentation is advantageous
