Job description for Security Shift Manager

The SecurityShift Manager in a casino is responsible for overseeing security operations,ensuring the safety and security of the premises, staff, and patrons duringassigned shifts. They lead and manage the security team, coordinate responsesto incidents and emergencies, and enforce security procedures to maintain asecure setting within the casino.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise securityoperations during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to established protocols.

Monitor surveillance systems,conduct patrols, and address any security concerns promptly.

Respond effectively to securityincidents, disturbances, and emergencies, maintaining order and safety.

Lead, train, and motivate thesecurity team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.

Implement and enforce securityprocedures, protocols, and policies within the casino.

Collaborate with otherdepartments and external agencies to address security issues and ensure asecure environment.

Prepare detailed incidentreports and maintain accurate documentation of security-related activities.





Contribute to the developmentand execution of emergency response plans and procedures.

Qualifications:

Min HSSC pass, diploma or equivalent required; additional trainingor certification in Security may be preferred.

Min Experience of 10 year

Proven experience in a security role, with demonstrated leadershipand supervisory skills.

Sound knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and bestpractices.

Familiarity with surveillance systems, access control, andemergency response technologies.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-makingabilities.

Physical fitness and the ability to handle physically demandingtasks.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends,and holidays.

Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industrystandards.
