Role & responsibilities

Inventory Planning & Stock Management

- Manage inventory levels to ensure optimum stock availability.
- Monitor rapid-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving inventory.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and minimize stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation.

Parts Procurement & Supply Chain Management

- Plan and place spare parts orders as per demand forecasts.
- Coordinate with Mahindra and approved vendors for timely procurement.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of genuine spare parts.

Spare Parts Sales Management

- Drive revenue growth through workshop, counter, and wholesale parts sales.
- Achieve monthly and annual spare parts sales targets.
- Identify opportunities to increase parts sales and profitability.

Workshop Coordination

- Coordinate closely with service and workshop teams to ensure timely parts availability.
- Reduce vehicle downtime by ensuring efficient parts supply.
- Support service operations with accurate and timely parts dispatch.

Team Leadership

- Supervise parts executives, storekeepers, and warehouse staff.
- Conduct training and performance evaluations.
- Foster a culture of accountability and operational excellence.





Inventory Control & Cost Optimization

- Monitor inventory carrying costs and stock turnover ratios.
- Reduce obsolete inventory and improve inventory efficiency.
- Implement cost-control measures while maintaining service levels.

Reporting & MIS

- Prepare inventory, sales, and stock movement reports.
- Analyze consumption patterns and demand forecasts.
- Present business insights and recommendations to management.

Customer Service Excellence

- Ensure prompt and accurate fulfillment of parts requirements.
- Resolve customer and workshop-related spare parts issues efficiently.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile

- Minimum 510 years of experience in automobile spare parts operations.
- Prior experience in Mahindra, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Kia, Toyota, Honda, Ashok Leyland, or similar dealerships preferred.
- Strong understanding of inventory planning, stock control, and parts sales.
- Experience with dealership DMS and inventory software.
- Ability to manage large inventories and cross-functional teams.
