Job Description

PhysicsWallah is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Manager to oversee studio operations, infrastructure, and facility management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing facilities, coordinating with vendors, ensuring preventive maintenance, and maintaining seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day studio operations and support faculty/academic requirements.
- Oversee vendor management, contract execution, procurement, invoicing, and expense tracking.
- Plan and monitor preventive maintenance for UPS, HVAC, batteries, electrical, mechanical, and other building systems.
- Ensure smooth functioning of IT and studio infrastructure.
- Maintain facility documentation, reports, SOPs, checklists, and audit records.
- Coordinate infrastructure planning and handle emergency/crisis situations effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and organizational policies.
- Track operational expenses and assist in Opex/Capex planning and budgeting.

Requirements





- Minimum 2 years of experience in Facility Management, Studio Operations, or a similar role.
- Robust understanding of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, UPS, battery, and building systems.
- Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of compliance, SOPs, safety protocols, budgeting, Opex, and Capex.
- Proactive approach with strong problem-solving and preventive maintenance mindset.
- Gujarati language proficiency is mandatory.
