Position: Purchase Manager Heavy Machinery & Mechanical Procurement

SEERAJ GROUP is looking for an experienced Purchase Manager with a Mechanical Engineering background to lead procurement operations for heavy machinery, technical spare parts, capital equipment, and engineering materials supporting our crane rental, logistics, and infrastructure businesses.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage procurement of heavy machinery spare parts, mechanical components, lifting equipment, and engineering consumables.
- Develop and manage OEMs, manufacturers, distributors, and strategic vendors.
- Conduct commercial negotiations for pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules.
- Manage the complete Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle.
- Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, workshop, and project teams for procurement planning.
- Conduct technical evaluations of spare parts and equipment.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid operational downtime.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize procurement costs.
- Conduct vendor audits and supplier performance evaluations.




- Generate procurement MIS, cost analysis, and vendor performance reports.
- Visit project sites when required for inspections and technical coordination.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Mandatory

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- 5–7 years of procurement experience
- Experience in Construction, Infrastructure, Heavy Equipment, Crane Rental, EPC, Engineering, or Industrial Manufacturing
- Solid technical understanding of mechanical components and heavy machinery
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced MS Excel
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites

Preferred

- Experience in heavy equipment procurement
