Role & responsibilities

- Dispense medicines accurately as per prescriptions and hospital protocols.
- Handle IP (In-Patient) medicine dispensing efficiently.
- Maintain inventory control, including stock receipt, storage, and replenishment.
- Conduct regular stock audits and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Monitor near-expiry and non-moving medicines and coordinate monthly pull-out activities.
- Ensure timely stock fulfillment to avoid shortages.
- Maintain pharmacy records and documentation as per hospital standards.
- Use MS Office and email for reporting, documentation, and communication.
- Follow all pharmacy regulations, quality standards, and hospital SOPs.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).




- Must possess a valid registration/license from the Jharkhand Pharmacy Council.
- Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience in IP dispensing, inventory management, stock audits, and pharmacy operations.
- Knowledge of near-expiry monitoring, non-moving stock management, and monthly stock pull-out processes.
- Basic computer proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word) and email communication.
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a hospital setting.
