Role & responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and deliver HSE training programs in accordance with statutory requirements, client standards, and company policies.
- Conduct induction training for new employees, contractors, and visitors before site entry.
- Deliver classroom and practical training on topics such as Permit to Work (PTW), Work at Height, Confined Space Entry, Lifting & Rigging, Fire Safety, Electrical Safety, Scaffolding Safety, Excavation Safety, and PPE.
- Prepare annual and monthly training calendars based on project requirements and compliance needs.
- Assess training needs through site observations, audits, incident trends, and competency gap analysis.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness sessions to reinforce protected work practices.
- Organize mock drills for fire emergencies, evacuation, confined space rescue, work at height rescue, and first aid.
- Evaluate trainee competency through written tests, practical assessments, and on-the-job observations.




- Prepare and maintain training materials, presentations, manuals, handouts, videos, and learning aids.
- Maintain accurate records of training attendance, competency assessments, certifications, and training matrices.
- Coordinate with project managers, HSE teams, and client representatives to ensure effective implementation of training programs.
- Monitor employee compliance with HSE procedures and provide refresher training where required.
- Support incident investigations by identifying training gaps and recommending corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct internal HSE awareness campaigns, safety competitions, and promotional activities to strengthen the safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001, Factories Act, BOCW Act, client requirements, and other applicable statutory regulations.
