Copper Melting Plant

The OFB Tech Ltd company established a copper melting plant with an automatic Rolling Mill for the manufacturing of auto-part copper rods of a capacity of 18000 MT per annum. The facility employs highly optimised, energy-efficient Automatic Continuous Casting and Rolling (CCR) line technology that integrates refining, casting, and rolling into a singular unified operation to minimise labour and energy overheads.

Key Responsibilities

Production Operations

- Monitor daily production activities across copper melting, casting, and rolling operations.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining process efficiency and product quality.
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure smooth plant operations.

Quality & Process Control

- Monitor critical process parameters and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify process deviations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to reduce scrap and improve yield. Plant Performance




- Support initiatives to improve productivity, equipment utilisation, metal recovery, and energy efficiency.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures, environmental regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and secure work practices across the plant. Reporting
- Prepare daily production reports, monitor KPIs, and maintain production records.

Qualifications:-

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Chemical, or Production Engineering.
- 34 years of experience in Copper Melting, Continuous Casting & Rolling (CCR), Copper Rod Manufacturing, Non-Ferrous Metals, or Metal Processing.
- Good understanding of production processes, quality systems, and manufacturing operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.
