Role & responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist senior chefs in the preparation and cooking of dishes as per standard recipes and instructions
- Perform basic food preparation tasks including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, cleaning ingredients, and portioning items
- Support in plating and garnishing dishes to maintain presentation standards
- Ensure all ingredients and kitchen equipment are prepared before service hours
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of kitchen stations at all times
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines strictly
- Assist in storing food items properly and monitoring freshness of ingredients
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours to ensure smooth operations
- Help in receiving kitchen supplies and arranging stock appropriately
- Learn and adapt to different cooking techniques and kitchen procedures

Requirements:

- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and cooking methods




- Diploma/Certification in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred
- Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of kitchen experience can apply
- Willingness to learn and work under guidance of senior kitchen staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented workplace
- Positive attitude, discipline, and passion for culinary arts
