Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC Turn-Mill and Haas 5-axis VMC machines.
- Load and verify CNC programs.
- Set tools, fixtures, work offsets, and tool offsets.
- Perform first-off and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T;.
- Monitor tool wear and optimize machining processes.
- Troubleshoot machine and tooling issues.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and perform basic preventive maintenance.
- Follow quality, safety, and production requirements.
Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 4+ years of CNC setup experience.
- Experience with Haas controls and 5-axis machining.
- Knowledge of G-code, tooling, work offsets, and precision inspection.
