Project Setup Data Entry:Assist with setting up new project codes/jobs in the accounting system and accurately inputting project-related financial data.Project Financial Management:Reviewing and evaluating project charges for accuracy, managing project costs and revenue collection, and performing cost transfers.Budgeting Reporting:Assisting in establishing and updating project budgets, investigating variances, and generating reports for project managers and management review.Cost Tracking Budgeting:Monitor project expenditures, help track costs against budgets, and identify potential overruns.Reporting Analysis:Prepare basic financial reports, generate status updates for Project Managers, and assist with month-end close activities.Compliance Support:Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and assist senior accountants or project managers as needed. Collaboration Support:Serving as a point of contact for project managers to troubleshoot financial issues, providing guidance, and coordinating efforts with cross-functional teams like billing and accounts payable.Documentation Auditing:Maintaining accurate project accounting records and preparing information for internal and external audits.
