Job Purpose

To ensure effective operation, maintenance, and upkeep of civil infrastructure at solar power plants, ensuring safety, quality, and long-term asset reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Routine inspection and maintenance of civil structures such as module mounting structures (MMS), inverter rooms, control rooms, boundary walls, roads, drains, and foundations.
- Identify, report, and rectify civil defects like cracks, settlement, erosion, water logging, and structural damages.
- Supervise civil repair and maintenance works including concreting, grouting, patch repairs, and road maintenance.
- Coordinate with civil contractors and vendors for repair and AMC activities.
- Ensure safety compliance during civil works as per company and statutory guidelines.
- Maintain O&M; records, inspection reports, and work completion documentation.
- Support root cause analysis for recurring civil issues and suggest preventive actions.




- Coordinate with electrical and O&M; teams during shutdowns or major maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper drainage and water management at the plant, especially during monsoon.
- Support audits, site visits, and inspections by internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E./ B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Experience in Solar / Power / Infrastructure O&M; preferred

Experience

- 5 + years of experience in civil maintenance, preferably in solar power plants or power sector O&M;

Key Skills & Competencies

- Knowledge of civil maintenance practices in solar plants
- Understanding of RCC, foundations, and structural repairs
- Contractor coordination and site supervision
- Basic knowledge of HSE practices
- Positive documentation and reporting skills
