Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Service & Erection Engineer to oversee the installation, erection, commissioning, and maintenance of eMeasurematics equipment across cranes, transfer cars, and yard facilities. The role requires solid technical expertise, hands-on problem-solving, and effective customer management to ensure smooth project execution and long-term operational support.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Erection Supervision
• Supervise installation and erection of eMeasurematics equipment on cranes, transfer cars, and yard facilities.
• Ensure compliance with site safety standards, JSW regulations, and project-specific requirements.
• Mobilize machinery, tools, tackles, and erection materials; manage logistics and storage.
• Coordinate material receipt, inspection, and clearance with JSW and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate records of measurement sheets, inspection certificates, and erection documentation.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting
• Perform routine maintenance and assist customers in developing preventive maintenance schedules.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out troubleshooting to restore operations.
• Conduct inspections to verify proper installation and functioning of devices.
• Support commissioning activities and provide post-commissioning operational assistance.

Customer & Project Management
• Act as a single point of contact for designated customers, ensuring timely resolution of issues.




• Build and sustain strong customer relationships through effective communication and service delivery.
• Provide regular updates to project managers during field installations and troubleshooting.
• Handle service calls professionally and document all activities in company databases.
• Liaise with JSW personnel for document handling, safety training, gate passes, and site clearances.

Quality & Compliance
• Carry out quality inspections and enforce adherence to standards and procedures.
• Ensure safe, secure, and healthy work environments in compliance with JSW and legal regulations.
• Follow JSW practices for invoice clearance and maintain traceability of project documentation.

Commissioning & Post-Commissioning Support
• Interact with operational teams to ensure smooth equipment operation.
• Provide basic health checks of equipment and coordinate with eMeasurematics officers for issue resolution.
• Document operational issues and report comprehensively for corrective actions or modifications.

Key Requirements
• Education: BE in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering.

Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of Networking
• Proficiency in MS Office and Excel
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D

Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage site operations independently
• Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving ability
