Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to establish and scale our Automation & Industry 4.0 business vertical. The individual will be responsible for defining technology strategy, building a high-performance engineering team, developing automation solutions, driving innovation, and ensuring successful delivery of automation projects across manufacturing industries.
The role requires a solid blend of technical expertise, solution architecture, customer engagement, project execution, and business leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Technology Leadership

- Define the company's automation and Industry 4.0 technology roadmap.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies in:
- Industrial Automation
- Robotics
- Machine Vision
- AI-based Inspection
- IIoT
- Digital Manufacturing
- Predictive Maintenance

- Establish engineering standards, design guidelines, and best practices.

Solution Development

- Lead conceptualization and design of automation solutions for manufacturing clients.
- Conduct site assessments and identify automation opportunities.
- Develop scalable solutions involving:
- PLC/SCADA
- Robotics
- Vision Systems
- Traceability Systems
- Material Handling
- MES & Industry 4.0 Platforms

- Review and approve technical architectures and project designs.

Customer Engagement

- Participate in customer discussions, technical presentations, and solution workshops.




- Act as the senior technical advisor during pre-sales engagements.
- Translate customer requirements into technically and commercially viable solutions.
- Build relationships with Plant Heads, Manufacturing Heads, Quality Heads, and CXOs.

Project Execution Oversight

- Ensure successful execution of automation projects from concept to commissioning.
- Review project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Resolve critical technical challenges during implementation.
- Drive project profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Team Building & Leadership

- Build and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team comprising:
- Solution Architects
- Automation Engineers
- Robotics Engineers
- Vision Engineers
- Project Managers
- Software Developers

- Establish a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Create technical training and competency development programs.

Strategic Partnerships

- Develop relationships with technology partners and OEMs such as:

- Drive technology alliances and joint go-to-market initiatives.
