Job Responsibilities :-

The main processes at the plant are Iron making (Steel Making Continuous Casting / Wire Rolling Mill)

- Procurement of Mechanical spares and equipments of different deptt viz; Forging , Profile, R/m plant with proper strategies and stipulated delivery period with the help of SAP Hana.
- Strong experience in various facets of procuring material from domestic and international market by using SAP MM Module and ARIBA Platform.
- Working Knowledge of SAP, expertise in Materials Management, Microsoft Office. • Ability to focus on continuous improving supply performance and inventory optimization.
- Extensive experience in supply chain improvement, inventory management, sourcing strategies, encompassing vendor identification, development and analytical assessment.
- Gained end to end exposure in dealing with import and domestic materials.
- Monitoring of stock material with appropriate action.
- Setting up the monthly procurement plan considering the production planning.
- Development of alternative local source for imported material which helps in cost and voyage time saving.
- Implementing systems to avoid situations like over-stocking or out-of-
- stock which cause production and financial losses.
- Consistent performer with strong track record, positive record with ability to handle assignments under high pressure.
- Propose improvements to the current purchasing system that will improve vendor relationships and lower the cost of doing business.
- Manage the companys day-to-day purchasing activities and ensure that all purchasing agents are meeting their personal performance standards.




- Assist in developing more effective invoicing and collecting processes.
- Involved in Procure to Pay process of mechanical spares and equipments relate to all production departments with justified strategies for both domestic and imports with help of NOW system.

- Repairing of R/mill spares including Chokes, Flappers, LinersDynamic Balancing of

impellers/Blowers, Cardan shafts

- Repairing / Service of Shaper/drilling machines
- Dismantling/fitting of couplings in Gear shafts of EOT cranes
- Repairing of BDM Gear Box of 16TRegular machining of Concave/convex rolls (D2/D3 Grades)

of straightening/peeling machines at proper time interval from outside.

- Calibration of Test Bars of MFLT from Germany and Flowmeters.
- Repairing / Refurbishment of charging bucket of Steel MeltShop.
- Complete refurbishment of Bell Annealing Furnace.
