POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced and business-savvy Data Scientist with 4+ years of hands-on analytics experience in the Pharmaceutical / Healthcare domain. In this role, you will design, deploy, and scale advanced predictive models, price elasticity frameworks, and marketing mix optimizations to drive commercial performance across top tier global markets.
The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in modern Python-based
Machine Learning, Deep Learning, MLOps, and Large Language Models
(LLMs) with strong stakeholder management skills, translating complex
quantitative outputs into strategic commercial insights for global brand
leaders, market access teams, and sales operations.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Market Mix Modeling (MMM): Develop and rene econometrics-
based Market Mix Models to evaluate marketing eectiveness across
digital, Field force, congresses, and omnichannel HCP/HCO
campaigns in US & EU markets.
2.Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA): Build robust Multi-Touch Attribution
models to map complex physician and patient journeys, optimizing
channel-level media spend and conversion touchpoints.
3.Price Optimization & Elasticity: Design statistical and machine
learning models for Price Elasticity and Price Optimization,
accounting for regional reimbursement structures, tender dynamics,
and co- pay environments in US and EU pharmaceutical regulatory
frameworks.

4. Sales & Demand Time Series Forecasting: Engineer scalable Time
Series Forecasting models (ARIMA/SARIMAX, Prophet, LightGBM,
Deep Learning) for long-term sales projections,



inventory planning,
and product demand forecasting.
5.LLM & GenAI Integration: Leverage Large Language Models (LLMs)
and NLP pipelines to automate qualitative data analysis, synthesize
medical market intelligence, and generate automated insight briefs for
commercial leadership.
6.MLOps & Productionization: Build end-to-end MLOps pipelines using
CI/CD, containerization (Docker), model tracking (MLow), and
deployment on cloud architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP) to ensure
scalable, and reproducible ML workflows.
7. Stakeholder Management & Storytelling: Serve as a trusted advisor
to cross-functional commercial stakeholders (Brand Managers,
Pricing & Market Access, Commercial Excellence) across US and
European regions, presenting analytical solutions with high impact.
8. Executive Presentation: Ability to simplify complex statistical
frameworks and present actionable strategic insights to executive
leaders and non-technical stakeholders.
9. Global Collaboration: Proven experience working across cross-
border multi-cultural teams across APAC, EMEA, Europe and North
America.
10. Agile Execution: Track record of working in rapid-paced
product/analytics teams, managing priorities, and driving end-to-end
project ownership from discovery to production.

TECHNICAL & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Core Experience & Domain:
1. Required 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist in the




Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Life Sciences industry.
2. Proven exposure to European and US healthcare ecosystem
dynamics, HCP data (IQVIA, Veeva, Symphony health), and
pharmaceutical commercialization.
3. Track record of building and deploying commercial models
(MMM, MTA, Price Elasticity, Demand Forecasting).

Technical Stack:
Mandatory Skills
a. Programming: Advanced Python, Spark and SQL, Git.
b. ML/DL & Math: PyTorch/TensorFlow, Scikit-learn,
XGBoost/LightGBM, Stats models, Causal Inference.

Good To have skills
a. LLMs/GenAI: OpenAI APIs, HuggingFace, LangChain /
LlamaIndex, RAG architectures.
b. MLOps & Cloud: MLow, Docker, Airflow, CI/CD, AWS /
Azure / GCP.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics,
Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering,
Economics, Commerce or a related quantitative discipline.
-2-4 years of hands-on experience in Data Science, Artificial
Intelligence, business intelligence or a related role.
- Experience working with Healthcare and Pharma business
datasets and preparing modeling data and EDA reports for
data scientists.
- Exposure to Healthcare, Pharmaceutical , Retail, FMCG,
Manufacturing, Sales distribution is an advantage.
