Role & responsibilities

- Manage and oversee all activities related to filling, sealing, labelling, and packing operations on the assigned production line.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower and machinery to achieve production targets efficiently.
- Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of machinery, transfer lines, transfer pumps, holding tanks, and other equipment before starting production and after completion of packing activities.
- Verify that all empty bottles, jars, and laminate pouches are cleaned before filling and that filled products are cleaned before packing into cartons.
- Ensure accurate filling quantities, proper capping/sealing, correct labelling with Manufacturing Date and Batch Number, and the correct quantity of bottles, jars, or pouches packed in each carton.
- Minimize product and packaging material wastage, including bottles, jars, laminate pouches, caps, labels, and cartons, and accurately record wastage in the daily production report.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the assigned packing line, including floors,



walls, drains, and surrounding work areas, in accordance with GMP and company standards.
- Ensure smooth functioning, preventive care, basic maintenance, and cleanliness of all packing line equipment and machinery, and report any breakdowns or abnormalities to the concerned department promptly.
- Follow all quality, safety, and hygiene procedures during production and packing operations.
- Maintain production records and daily reports accurately and submit them to the reporting manager.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted production and timely completion of packing schedules.
- Perform any other production-related duties assigned by the Reporting Manager or Plant Management

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma in Electrical / Chemical Engineering with 1 3 yrs experience in Packing department food industry.
