Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead/Associate Project Manager to lead and manage complex software development projects across web, mobile, cloud, and enterprise platforms. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project ownership, stakeholder management, delivery governance, and ensuring high-quality execution within defined timelines and budgets.

This role is strictly focused on software/IT project management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery of software development projects.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Develop detailed project plans including timelines, resource allocation, and budget tracking.
- Manage cross-functional teams (Developers, QA, DevOps, UI/UX, Business Analysts).
- Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives.
- Monitor sprint velocity, burn-down charts, release metrics, and quality KPIs.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
- Manage change requests and scope control effectively.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC, quality standards, and security compliance.
- Oversee release management and deployment coordination.
- Prepare executive-level status reports and dashboards.
- Ensure client satisfaction and manage stakeholder expectations.

Technical & Functional Skills





- Strong understanding of SDLC (Waterfall & Agile).
- Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum project execution.
- Experience with tools:
- JIRA / Azure DevOps / MS Project / Confluence
- Good understanding of:
- Web and mobile application architecture
- APIs and system integrations
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience managing SaaS or enterprise-level applications.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Exposure to vendor and third-party management.

Leadership & Governance

- Lead medium to large project teams (1025 members).
- Mentor junior project managers and coordinators.
- Drive delivery governance and quality assurance processes.
- Establish best practices for documentation and reporting.
- Handle escalations and conflict resolution.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Scrum Master certification preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience managing software development projects.

- Experience in enterprise digital transformation programs.
- Exposure to global client engagements.
- Experience in product-based or SaaS environments.
- Experience managing distributed/offshore teams.
