Role & responsibilities

Operate multirotor and fixed-wing drones safely in both manual and autonomous flight modes

Conduct thorough pre-flight checks including calibration of sensors, GPS lock and battery health

Plan and execute missions such as delivery and surveillance using mission planning software

Monitor real-time telemetry data to ensure safe flight and quick response to anomalies

Maintain accurate flight logs, battery cycles and compliance documentation

Assist engineering team during field testing of new drone prototypes and configurations

Identify and troubleshoot flight-related issues such as GPS drift, ESC failure or unstable flight

Preferred candidate profile

Strong hands-on experience flying drones in different environmental conditions (wind, terrain, obstacles)

Familiarity with flight controllers like Pixhawk, Ardupilot or PX4 and their configuration

Valuable understanding of airspace regulations and DGCA compliance requirements

Ability to handle emergency situations such as signal loss or low battery safely

Experience using mission planning tools like Mission Planner or QGroundControl

Basic knowledge of drone hardware for quick field-level troubleshooting
