Job Description

As a Graduate Engineering Trainee, you will be part of a structured training program designed to expose you to various aspects of shop floor operations, process execution, and team coordination. This role aims to develop your understanding of core manufacturing processes, with a focus on production planning, manpower handling, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with supervisors, operators, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient production workflows.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Support: - Assist in daily production activities to ensure uninterrupted operations on the shop floor.

2. Manpower Coordination: - Support workforce planning and deployment in coordination with shift leaders or supervisors.

3. Process Compliance: - Track production metrics, report deviations, and assist in maintaining production documentation.

4. Workplace Discipline and Safety: - Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment by following 5S and EHS (Environment,



Health & Safety) guidelines.

5. Continuous Improvement: - Participate in identifying and implementing improvements in process efficiency and resource utilization.

6. Team Engagement - Attend daily briefings, support coordination between departments, and assist in basic team communication activities.

Key Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline (2024/2025 pass-outs preferred).

Skills:

- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Basic knowledge of production processes and shop floor operations.
- Good analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to work in shifts and on the shop floor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
