Role & responsibilities

- Conduct day-to-day system monitoring, problem identification and troubleshooting for AMI HES & MDM systems.
- Monitor Customer Billing systems, Energy Accounting and other customer legacy systems for consumer billing maintenance and energy accounting.
- Escalate unresolved technical issues to the Immediate Responsible Team or R&D; for development of customised solutions for AMI HES and MDM.

- Conduct initial technical discussions with clients/customers for clarity on deliverables, timelines and SLAs.
- Coordinate with sub-contractors and HES-MDM partners for deliverable alignment.

- Provide technical support to project teams with detailed, end-to-end engineering solutions for recent opportunities, including process mapping and engineering support across the project life cycle for AMI and IT infrastructure.
- Ensure system monitoring for AMI projects to meet defined SLAs.




- Support project site and procurement teams with technical solutions for AMI, HES and MDMS issues, and address design queries raised by procurement.
- Ensure effective engineering and process-based NOMC operations through defined DWI/Operating Procedures.
- Undertake frequent site visits to ensure smooth, project-wise operation of the AMI system.
- Ensure seamless NOC functionality.

- Prepare business process flows and monitor implementation of HES and MDM deliverables end to end.
- Build and develop the team to ensure ease of operations and service delivery.

Preferred candidate profile

6 8 years of relevant experience in AMI/HES/MDM systems or related engineering functions.
