Role & responsibilities

- Summarise the orders issued by procurement department.
- Monitor delivery dates as per order and notify supplier / Procurement for delay in deliveries
- Receipt of goods against order and update in the SAP / PMS
- Ensure physical verifications of stores stock as per inventory policy
- Maintain stock level of critical and insurance spares
- Prepare list of obsolete and scrap materials as per inventory policy and prepare disposal proposal
- Update list of non-moving items and put up with disposal proposal
- Issue stores and consumables as per approved issues slip and same day updation in the system
- Schedule and plan delivery of spares and stores as per arrival schedule of MBCs.
- Time to time inspection of goods lying outside and ensure its secure storage.
- Ensure strict safety measure and prevention of spillage during storage and handling of stores incoming materials.

Preferred candidate profile

BE Mech, Experience in Mech Stores. SAP
