To ensure sterile pack is ready according to the surgery list.
To arrange the instruments according to the specific requirements of the departments.
To check the entries made in receiving register.
To ensure proper sterilization of equipments and linen by checking the color of indicator.
To check the stock of consumables such as instruments, gauges, pads etc.
To raise the requisition in case of any requirement.
To allocate duties to staff members of the department.
To ensure the packaging of the instruments, linen and other items.
To ensure drying of instruments after washing.
To co-ordinate with biomedical department in case of facing any problem or breakdown of machines.




To check the condition of Autoclave.
To co-ordinate with microbiology lab for getting the culture done.
To receive the culture reports and maintain culture file involving reports of culture of ETO, Auto Clave, and Sterile Room.
To follow the Process Improvement programs and carry on Quality Initiatives in the department.
To get daily cleaning of ETO room and Autoclave.
Receiving O.T. Booking.
To ensure to know of recall policy.
To ensure cleaning & disinfection of Autoclave and ETO machine.
