Source, evaluate, and onboard vendors for raw materials, packaging, and consumables
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
Raise and track Purchase Orders (POs); ensure timely delivery against production schedules
Monitor vendor performance (quality, lead time, pricing) and maintain vendor scorecards
Coordinate with Production/Planning teams to forecast material requirements
Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid stockouts or excess holding Resolve quality or delivery issues with vendors; manage rejections/returns
Maintain procurement records, rate contracts, and vendor agreements Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternate vendor sources
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and documentation (GRN, invoices, etc.)
