Role Overview

The Leasing Manager is responsible for developing and executing leasing strategies to maximize occupancy, revenue, and tenant mix across the organizations property portfolio. This role involves leading leasing teams, negotiating high-value deals, and building long-term relationships with tenants and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leasing Strategy & Planning

- Develop and implement leasing strategies aligned with business goals
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer demand
- Identify opportunities to enhance asset value and occupancy rates

2. Tenant Acquisition & Relationship Management

- Identify and onboard new tenants across target segments
- Maintain robust relationships with existing tenants to ensure retention
- Handle key account management for anchor tenants and major brands

3. Deal Negotiation & Closures

- Lead lease negotiations including commercial terms, contracts, and renewals
- Structure deals to optimize revenue and minimize vacancy risk
- Ensure compliance with legal and financial policies

4. Portfolio Management

- Oversee leasing operations across multiple properties/projects
- Monitor occupancy levels, lease expiries,



and rental performance
- Ensure optimal tenant mix aligned with positioning strategy

5. Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and manage leasing teams across regions/projects
- Set targets, KPIs, and performance benchmarks
- Drive a high-performance, results-oriented culture

6. Stakeholder Coordination

- Collaborate with marketing, finance, legal, and operations teams
- Work closely with developers, brokers, and consultants
- Present leasing performance updates to senior management

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

- Bachelors degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field
- MBA preferred

Experience:

- 10–18 years in leasing, preferably in commercial real estate / retail malls
- Proven track record of closing large leasing deals
