Role & responsibilities

As a Merchandising Associate, you'll play a key role in bringing fashion trends to life on the Wishlink shopping platform (https://seleqt.wishlink.com/). You'll work at the intersection of fashion, data, and operations to identify emerging trends, curate products, and ensure every trend story is executed seamlessly for our users.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Trend Identification & Research: Continuously monitor fashion trends across Indian e-commerce platforms, social media (Instagram, Pinterest, Reddit), Google Trends, and other relevant sources to identify emerging opportunities.
- Trend Intelligence: Support the creation of Wishlink's Trend Intelligence reports by validating trend relevance, and performing quality checks on shortlisted products.
- Merchandising Operations: Own the end-to-end execution of trend launches on the platform, coordinating with Design, Product, and Tech teams to ensure timely go-lives.
- Content & Curation: Curate products and supporting assets for every trend, including selecting relevant creator content, merchandising collections, and ensuring a compelling shopping experience.
- Performance Tracking:



Monitor engagement and commercial metrics for launched trends, derive insights, and continuously optimize future merchandising decisions.
- Operational Excellence: Build and improve merchandising processes that enable the platform to scale efficiently as we onboard more brands and launch more trend-led collections.

Preferred candidate profile

We're looking for someone who is obsessed with fashion, thrives in fast-paced environments, and enjoys turning trends into customer experiences.

You'd be a great fit if you:

- Have a genuine passion for fashion and stay updated with emerging trends, brands, creators, and internet culture.
- Hold a degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Communication, or a related field (preferred, not mandatory if you demonstrate solid fashion acumen).
- Are highly detail-oriented and can maintain quality while working across multiple launches simultaneously.
- Bring a strong ownership mindset, bias for action, and the hustle required to build a category-defining startup.
- Are excited by the opportunity to shape the merchandising engine for a new fashion commerce platform from day one.
