Role & responsibilities

The Designer will be responsible for preparing 3D models and drawings in CREO along with

BoM (bill of material) for assembled equipment involving welded/machined frames and

machined components of machines used in steel plants.

Position profile

• Study of reference drawings and get familiarized quickly with the equipment

• Preparation & self-checking of Basic and detail drawings for equipment as guided by the

reporting engineer/ manager

• Preparation and self-checking of Onboard equipment piping

• Preparation of Bill of Material (BoM)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• ITI draftsman or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 3 years experience required

• A thorough hand on experience on preparation of 3D models, drawings in CREO

and AutoCAD are must.



Candidate must have been working on CREO

continuously atleast for last 2 years or atleast 3 years if worked in past (not more

than 1 year)

• Positive knowledge of dimensioning.

• Familiarity with machining and assembly processes of heavy machinery/EPC domain.

• Good Knowledge of Fits/Tolerances and Geometric Tolerances.

• Knowledge of various bought out parts involved in moving and rotating machines.

• Able to communicate/report technical challenges effectively with the reporting

engineer/manager.
