Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified and responsible Pharmacist to manage medication dispensing, inventory control, and patient counseling at our rehabilitation center. The candidate will work closely with doctors, psychiatrists, nurses, and counselors to ensure safe and effective medication management for patients undergoing rehabilitation and recovery programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and maintain proper records.
- Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, allergies, and appropriateness.
- Maintain and monitor medicine inventory, stock levels, and expiry management.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines as per regulatory guidelines.
- Counsel patients regarding medication usage, dosage schedules, and possible side effects.
- Coordinate with doctors and clinical staff regarding medication-related queries and treatment plans.
- Maintain documentation related to narcotics and controlled medications, if applicable.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws,



safety standards, and internal protocols.
- Prepare and maintain daily pharmacy reports and stock registers.
- Support emergency medication requirements within the rehabilitation facility.
- Promote rational and secure use of medicines among patients and staff.

Required Qualifications

- D.Pharm / B.Pharm preferred
- Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration is mandatory.
- Prior experience in hospital, clinic, psychiatric, or rehabilitation setup preferred.
- Knowledge of pharmacy inventory systems and medication management.
- Familiarity with controlled substance handling and medical compliance procedures.
