Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor SOC L1/L2/L3 analysts in a 24x7 SOC workplace.
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to high-severity security incidents.
- Perform advanced threat hunting using SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence.
- Develop, tune, and optimize SIEM correlation rules and use cases.
- Lead incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and prepare incident reports.
- Manage and improve security monitoring, alerting, and detection capabilities.
- Integrate log sources and ensure complete visibility across the enterprise.
- Work with Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, and IT teams to mitigate security risks.
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, and CIS Controls.




- Develop SOC playbooks, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate with stakeholders during major security incidents.
- Provide technical guidance, conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, and mentor junior analysts.
- Prepare SOC operational metrics, dashboards, and executive reports.
