Job Title- Assistant Manager-Quantity Surveyor (Civil)- Precontract

Location- Bengaluru (Amrutahalli, Hebbal)

Working hours- 9:00 am 6:00 pm

Working days- Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday working.

Duties & Responsibilities-

Quantity Take-offs:

- Measurement of BOQ Items:Conduct quantity take-offs for Bill of Quantities (BOQ) items based on project drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate and thorough measurements.
- Collation of Quantities:Organize and compile measurements into a comprehensive BOQ for project use, maintaining clarity and precision in documentation.
- Documentation Management:Ensure all quantity-related documentation is maintained accurately and kept up to date for reference.

Cost Analysis:

- Market Research:Research and obtain market rates for materials and labor to support project budgeting.
- Rate Analysis Support:Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in preparing rate analysis of items by providing data and documentation as required.
- Cost Reporting:Participate in preparing cost reports and forecasts based on collected data and prevailing market trends.

Required Education & Skills-





- Bachelors degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Min 5 years experience in quantity surveying
- BOQ drafting experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Acad. Familiarity with cost estimation software is a plus.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team
- Familiarity with standard Mode of measurements
