We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead New Product Development (NPD) programs for Industrial Products, Industrial Appliances, Special Purpose Machines (SPM), Truck & Trailer OEMs, Commercial Vehicles, Off-Highway Equipment, and Tier-1 Suppliers.

The candidate will be responsible for managing complete engineering development programs, coordinating cross-functional engineering teams, interacting with global customers, and ensuring successful project delivery in terms of quality, cost, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

- Lead end-to-end engineering development and Recent Product Development (NPD) projects.
- Prepare project plans, schedules, resource plans, and project execution strategies.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, quality, risks, and customer expectations.
- Track project progress and ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables.
- Conduct project review meetings and provide regular status updates to customers and management.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure adherence to engineering processes, quality standards, and customer requirements.

Engineering Delivery Management

Manage and monitor delivery of:

- CAD Modeling (3D/2D)
- Engineering Drawings
- GD&T;
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Design Calculations
- DFMEA
- Prototype Development Support
- Design Verification & Validation
- Engineering Documentation
- Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECR)

Cross-Functional Team Management





Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary engineering teams comprising:

- Mechanical Design
- Electrical & Electronics
- Hydraulics
- Controls Engineering
- Embedded Software
- CAE & Simulation
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Validation & Testing

Ensure:

- Timely completion of engineering activities
- Design reviews and technical reviews
- Engineering documentation
- Product release activities
- Engineering change implementation

Customer & Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary point of contact for global customers.
- Conduct customer meetings, technical discussions, design reviews, and project review meetings.
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Global Project Coordination

- Collaborate with engineering teams across India, North America, and Europe.
- Manage projects across multiple time zones.
- Support onsite customer visits, workshops, and design reviews.
- Travel internationally whenever required.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Automotive Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Or equivalent engineering discipline

Experience Required

- 14 to 19 years of overall experience.
- 8 to 15 years of experience in Engineering Services, Product Development, or NPD.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of Project Management experience.
- Experience working with Global OEMs and Tier-1 Suppliers.
- Experience managing customer-facing engineering projects.
- Experience leading global cross-functional engineering teams.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Valid U.S. B1 Visa will be an added advantage.
