Job Description

Torry Harris is seeking an Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the operational aspects of our software and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our applications are running smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and maintain the performance of applications and systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues quickly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to deploy current releases and updates.
- Work on automation initiatives to streamline operational processes.
- Document operational procedures and support processes.
- Participate in on-call support rotations as needed.
- Analyze system performance and make recommendations for improvements.

Skills and Tools Required:

- Strong understanding of cloud computing and technology stack (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Previous experience in a similar operations or support role is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in cloud technologies or DevOps practices are a plus.
