Job Title: Sr. Mechanical Engineer
Department: Mechanical Maintenance
Reporting To: Maintenance Manager

Job Summary

The Sr. Mechanical Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing mechanical maintenance activities to ensure reliable, safe, and productive operation of plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Pumps, Compressors, Gearboxes, Heat Exchangers, Reactors, Agitators, Conveyors, Rotary Equipment, and Utility Systems.
- Lead maintenance teams and coordinate with production for planned shutdowns.
- Ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and improve plant performance.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and maintenance records.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory requirements.
- Support installation, commissioning,



and modification of mechanical equipment.

Qualification & Experience

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 510 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a chemical, manufacturing, or process industry.

Skills

- Strong knowledge of rotating and static equipment.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and P&IDs.;
- Good troubleshooting, planning, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CMMS/SAP is preferred.
