Job Description Store Manager

Role Objective:
Responsible for managing end-to-end store operations for the sole manufacturing unit, including raw material receipt, inventory control, stock accuracy, material issuance, documentation, and coordination with Production, Planning, Purchase, Quality, and Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage complete store operations for the footwear sole manufacturing unit.
- Ensure proper receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of raw materials, consumables, chemicals, packing materials, moulds, spare parts, and finished/semi-finished goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/SAP and physical stock registers.
- Ensure timely material availability to Production as per production plan.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Planning teams for material availability and follow-ups.
- Ensure proper GRN, material issue slips, stock transfer, gate entry, and invoice documentation.
- Conduct regular cycle counts, monthly stock audits, and reconciliation of physical vs system stock.
- Control material wastage, dead stock, ageing stock, and slow-moving inventory.
- Maintain proper storage conditions for chemicals, PU/EVA/TPR/rubber materials, adhesives, moulds, and consumables.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Coordinate with Quality team for material inspection, rejection handling, and vendor return process.
- Maintain 5S, safety,



housekeeping, and compliance standards in the store area.
- Supervise store team, assign daily work, and ensure discipline and productivity.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to stock, consumption, shortages, ageing, and inventory accuracy.

Required Skills:

- Solid knowledge of store operations in footwear, sole, rubber, PU, EVA, TPR, or manufacturing industry.
- Good understanding of inventory control, GRN, material issuance, stock reconciliation, and audit process.
- Working knowledge of ERP/SAP/MS Excel.
- Ability to coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, Finance, and Planning teams.
- Strong documentation, follow-up, and team-handling skills.
- Knowledge of safety and storage standards for chemicals and manufacturing materials.

Preferred Experience:
10–18 years of relevant experience in store management, preferably from footwear, sole manufacturing, rubber, polymer, EVA/PU/TPR, FMCG, auto ancillary, or manufacturing industry.

Education:
Graduate / Diploma in Material Management, Supply Chain, Commerce, or any relevant field.
