Role & responsibilities

The Repair & Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning and upkeep of all Aster Pharmacy stores by coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities. The role involves managing maintenance requests, coordinating with vendors, monitoring service quality, controlling maintenance costs, and ensuring all stores remain safe, operational, and compliant with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate day-to-day repair and maintenance activities across pharmacy stores.
- Ensure timely resolution of maintenance complaints related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, civil works, carpentry, painting, signage, and fixtures.
- Conduct regular store inspections to identify maintenance requirements.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment breakdowns.




- Maintain store assets in good working condition.

Vendor Management

- Coordinate with approved vendors and service providers for maintenance works.
- Obtain quotations, compare costs, and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor vendor performance, workmanship, turnaround time, and service quality.
- Verify completion of work before processing vendor payments.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and civil maintenance.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Excellent planning and coordination abilities.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
