I. JOB DETAILS

Job Title

Senior Resident Anaesthesiology

Reporting Supervisor

HOD Anaesthesiology

II. JOB PURPOSE

- To provide ensure direct or indirect accurate medical attention to all cases needing anesthesia before any surgical procedure. To provide high quality Pre-anesthesia, anesthesia and Post-operative anesthesia care in the hospital.

III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- To effectively interface with patients, technicians, nursing staff and service users.
- To demonstrate effective application of technical professional knowledge.
- To ensure pre, INTRA and post-operative care of all the cases done in the unit.
- To be available for emergency calls of the O.T. the I.C.U
- To supervise all nursing/ para-medical non-medical staff to maintain high standards.
- To actively participate in CME and Journal clubs conferences.
- To co-ordinate on matters relating to Provision of infrastructure and
- maintenance support, selection of medical consumables and equipment to be procured
- To facilitate teaching and training programs of O.T. Nurses, Technicians,
- I.C.U. staff.
- To ensure optimum utilization of resources by himself and subordinates
- To be well groomed, punctual adhere to company policies and practices.
- To have complete orientation of QMS and EMS system of Hospital.




- To have complete Awareness about Disaster Management Programme (DMP) of the hospital.
- To Comply with the service quality Process, environmental occupational
- issues policies of the respective area
- To Comply with patient safety policy
- To ensure secure utilization of equipments and proper waste disposal system.

IV. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

- Total support to OT Operation
- Nil incidence in hospital borne infection in OT Critical Care Anesthesia
- No surgery to be postponed due to non-availability of anesthetist.
- 100% statutory compliance
- TATs as per NABH IMS guidelines.

V. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

- MD Anesthesia

Experience

- Relevant Experience and job knowledge

Language Skills

- English / Hindi
