Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Neurologist to join our dynamic healthcare team, delivering high-quality neurological care to patients across diverse clinical settings. This role is pivotal in diagnosing, managing, and treating a wide spectrum of neurological disorders, including epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinsons disease, neuropathies, and headache disorders. The Neurologist will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans, contributing significantly to improved patient outcomes and enhanced care delivery. Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed medical history taking, neurological examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions using evidence-based protocols and treatment guidelines.
- Order, interpret, and integrate results from diagnostic studies such as EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, MRI, CT scans, and lumbar punctures.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, and monitor patient progress over time.
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons, radiologists, rehabilitation specialists, and primary care providers to coordinate multidisciplinary care.




- Provide timely consultations for inpatient and outpatient neurological emergencies, including stroke and seizures.
- Maintain accurate, legible, and compliant medical records in accordance with institutional and regulatory standards.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement projects, and hospital-based neurology service enhancements.
- Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with advances in neurology through research, conferences, and training.
- Contribute to teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and junior clinicians as part of clinical education programs.

Requirements

- MBBS degree with a postgraduate qualification in Neurology (DNB, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent state medical council).
- Minimum of 1 year of postgraduate clinical experience in neurology, preferably in a hospital or tertiary care setting.
- Proficiency in performing and interpreting neurological examinations and common diagnostic procedures.
- Strong diagnostic reasoning and clinical decision-making skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cooperative care team in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and digital health tools.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and continuous learning.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties and emergency neurological care as required.
