Role Objective:

We are seeking a detail-oriented logistics professional to manage outbound logistics operations, ensuring timely, cost-efficient transportation, seamless coordination with stakeholders, and strict adherence to compliance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute outbound logistics strategies in coordination with Lead Logistics.
- Manage end-to-end transportation, freight forwarding, and logistics operations (domestic & export).
- Monitor and track shipment movement to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
- Audit freight bills and validate them against contractual terms.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Engineering, Security, Marketing) for efficient loading/unloading.
- Maintain accurate ERP documentation, material coding, and shipment records.
- Monitor truck turnaround time and dispatch efficiency.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities using logistics data analysis.
- Negotiate with transporters, vendors, and suppliers for better rates and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with legal, taxation, permits, and logistics regulations.
- Proactively resolve issues related to delays, missed pickups, or system errors.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Turnaround Time (TAT)
- On-Time In-Full (OTIF)

- Transportation Cost Reduction (%)
- Logistics Cost as % of Sales (MoM / YoY)
- Billing Accuracy & Audit Compliance

Stakeholder Management:

Internal: Stores, Procurement, Production
External: Transporters, Vendors, Freight Partners

Qualification & Experience:

- Graduate in any discipline
- 3-5 years of experience in Logistics / Supply Chain Management
- Strong understanding of Indian transportation network and routes

Required Expertise:

- Inventory Management & Stock Control
- Logistics Audits & Freight Billing
- ERP Systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
- Transportation & Distribution Planning
- Compliance & Documentation (Domestic & International Logistics)

Desired Skills:

- Negotiation & Contract Management
- Knowledge of FIFO/LIFO inventory systems
- Cost optimization techniques in logistics
- Understanding of product classification (Fast / Slow-moving goods)
