Cloud Engineer
Proven experience in architecting data solutions on Microsoft Azure (minimum 4+ years)
Expertise in:
o Unity Catalog
o Azure Data Factory (ADF)
o Azure Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake)
o Azure Data Lake Storage Gen1/Gen2
o Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization)
- Solid understanding of data integration, data warehousing, and modern data platform patterns (e.g., medallion architecture)
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or PySpark for data processing and transformations
- Experience with CI/CD, version control (e.g., Git), and DevOps for data
- Knowledge of data governance, security (RBAC, ABAC), and compliance on cloud platforms
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Qualification
Microsoft certifications such as:
o Azure Solutions Architect Expert
o Azure Data Engineer Associate
o Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- Experience with tools like Azure Synapse, Purview, Logic Apps, or Power Automate
- Familiarity with real-time data processing and event-driven architectures (e.g., Event Hubs, Stream Analytics)
