Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP BDC (Business Data Cloud) / SAP Datasphere Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise data solutions on SAP's modern data platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP Datasphere, SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration, and enterprise data modeling. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and architect enterprise data solutions using SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) and SAP Datasphere.
- Lead the implementation of SAP Datasphere architecture, including Spaces, Data Builder, Business Builder, and semantic modeling.
- Develop scalable and reusable data models for analytics and reporting.
- Integrate data from SAP and non-SAP sources using SAP Datasphere and related SAP integration technologies.
- Design data virtualization and replication strategies based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, ECC, and cloud application teams for data integration.
- Work closely with business users to translate reporting and analytics requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimize data performance, governance, security, and access management.
- Support SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) connectivity and reporting solutions.
- Establish architecture standards, best practices, and governance for enterprise data platforms.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle.




- Mentor technical teams and review solution designs.

Required Qualifications

- 10+ years of SAP experience with strong expertise in enterprise data architecture.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere.
- Experience working with SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC).
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA modeling and SQL.
- Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, ECC, and non-SAP data sources.
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake, Dimensions, Facts, etc.).
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration.
- Knowledge of data governance, authorization, and security models.
- Experience with data replication, federation, and virtualization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile project environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- SAP Datasphere certification.
- Experience with SAP Data Intelligence.
- Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Python, SQL scripting, or ETL technologies.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
