Role & responsibilities

- Lead and manage the complete Finance & Accounts function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and statutory compliance.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing, including preparation of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement, and MIS reports.
- Manage General Ledger, trial balance, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closing in SAP/ERP.
- Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, cash flow statements, and monitor budget vs. actual performance.
- Drive cost accounting, product costing, variance analysis, and profitability analysis for yarn, denim, weaving, processing, and power divisions.
- Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, vendor payments, customer collections, and debtor/creditor ageing.
- Ensure effective inventory accounting, stock valuation, physical verification, and reconciliation of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and stores.
- Manage banking operations, treasury, working capital, fund planning, bank reconciliations, and liaison with financial institutions.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, TCS, Professional Tax, PF, ESIC, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Cost Audit, and ensure implementation of audit recommendations.
- Strengthen internal financial controls, accounting policies, SOPs, and risk management practices.
- Prepare management reports, profitability analysis, financial dashboards, and strategic MIS for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Logistics, HR, Commercial, and Corporate teams for effective financial control and business planning.
- Lead ERP optimization, implementation, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Accounts & Finance team.

Preferred candidate profile

- Chartered Accountant (CA), CMA (ICWA),



MBA (Finance), M.Com, or equivalent qualification.
- 15-20 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in Textile, Denim, Spinning, Weaving, Manufacturing, or Process Industries.
- Strong exposure to Financial Accounting, Costing, Budgeting, Taxation, Treasury, MIS, and Financial Planning.
- Hands-on experience in ERP systems, Tally Prime, or similar enterprise accounting software.
- In-depth knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, Company Law, and statutory compliance.
- Proven experience in Balance Sheet finalization and coordination with statutory and internal auditors.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing costing, inventory accounting, and working capital management.
- Experience in leading finance teams and collaborating with cross-functional departments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated experience in leading multi-location teams and cross-functional coordination with sales, operations, plant, and corporate teams.
- High integrity, solid analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Attributes

- Prior experience in Textile, Spinning, Weaving, Denim, Garment, or Process Manufacturing industries.
- Experience in ERP implementation, migration, or digital finance transformation projects.
- Knowledge of Power Division accounting, export incentives, and government schemes applicable to the textile industry.
- Ability to develop financial policies, internal controls, and process improvements.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to support strategic decision-making through financial insights.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to compliance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing workplace and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and financial reporting tools.
