Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong frontend focus to join the Indian office of amasol GmbH, a consulting and software company headquartered in Germany.

You should bring more than 10 years of professional software development experience, strong technical judgment, and the ability to work independently in a small, agile, international team. The role requires hands-on development across frontend and backend systems, with a particular emphasis on building modern, maintainable, and user-friendly Angular applications.

You will work closely with Product Managers, QA Engineers, Architects, Engineering Managers, and other developers under an Agile sprint process. You should be comfortable understanding business requirements, translating them into technical solutions, communicating trade-offs clearly, and taking ownership from implementation through delivery.

A good understanding of AI-assisted coding practices is important.



We are looking for someone who can use modern AI coding tools responsibly and effectively to improve productivity, code quality, testing, refactoring, documentation, and problem solving while still applying strong engineering judgment.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications with a strong focus on Angular-based frontend development
- Build and integrate backend services using Java and related technologies
- Work with PostgreSQL and relational data models, including queries, schema understanding, and performance considerations
- Implement complex user interfaces using libraries such as PrimeNG, AG Grid, and GoJS
- Translate business and product requirements into robust, maintainable technical solutions
- Collaborate with Product Managers, QA Engineers, Architects, and Engineering Managers during planning, refinement, implementation, and release
- Contribute to technical design discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews
- Ensure high standards for code quality, maintainability, testability, and performance
- Use AI coding tools thoughtfully to accelerate development, improve quality, and support documentation and testing
- Identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks early and communicate them clearly
- Take ownership of assigned work with a high degree of self-management and accountability
- Support continuous improvement of development practices, UI quality, and team workflows

Skills

- More than 10 years of professional software development experience
- Strong frontend development experience with Angular
- Solid full stack development experience with Java and PostgreSQL




- Experience with UI component and visualization libraries such as PrimeNG, AG Grid, and GoJS
- Strong understanding of software architecture, clean code, maintainability, and scalable application design
- Good understanding of relational databases, SQL, data modeling, and backend integration patterns
- Experience working in agile development environments
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical implementation
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and engineering stakeholders
- Valuable verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- High level of agency, ownership, and self-management
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while staying aligned with the team
- Comfortable working in a small-team environment with direct communication and open feedback
- Passion for technology, user experience, and practical software delivery
- Good understanding of AI-assisted coding practices, including responsible use of AI tools for development, debugging, refactoring, testing, and documentation

Tools and Communication

We use Jira and Confluence for documentation and agile management.

Communication is done via Microsoft Teams.
