Hiring: MEP Engineer (Electrical) | 4+ Years Experience

Job Title

MEP Engineer Electrical

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
- Additional certifications in MEP or Project Management are an added advantage.

Experience

- Minimum 4+ years of experience in MEP projects.
- Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or real estate projects is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, execute, and supervise electrical MEP works as per approved drawings and project specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders for seamless project execution.
- Review MEP drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and shop drawings.
- Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed within project timelines and quality standards.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, lighting, earthing, fire alarm systems, and related services.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and industry standards.
- Conduct site inspections,



identify technical issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with procurement teams for timely material approvals and deliveries.
- Verify contractor bills, measurements, and work completion reports.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Support project handover, snag rectification, and final documentation.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of electrical MEP systems and project execution.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and MEP drawings.
- Experience in installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and statutory regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Graduate in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant MEP project experience.
- Strong coordination and site management skills.
- Willingness to travel between project sites if required.
